open house lovely

many thanks to all who came out to our open house on saturday, during the busy mother's day weekend! the sun was shining for us, the grass was freshly mowed and the flowers were making a first appearance. we had so much fun making boats with miss toki, making our butter and bread and hearing a lovely story. i wish i had snapped more photos, but we were all so busy enjoying. a big thanks to all the class parents who helped out and contributed beauty to the day, to mr. alex for yard beautification and to all the families who joined us! it was truly a lovely lovely day... xo

lately...

This week we set up our new classroom! We now have a dedicated space for school! They children played so nice and had a great view of the water and the chickens! We are waiting on some baby chicks to be born this week or early next, and the children are very busy keeping track of our broody hen, simone! Happy rainy outside days and cozy inside days!

{May Day}

This week we will celebrate May Day at school. The children will be busy making flower cones and tidying up the garden and yard to get ready for the festivities. We are opening our doors to any families and children who would like to come and participate in May Crown making and sharing our May Pole with us. We will also be welcoming our NEW co teacher Miss Toki Oshima! What a wonderful way to ring in Spring. Join us at 323 Oak Hill Road Swanville, Maine at 3pm on Friday, see you there with flowers in your hair...
